Question / Help Framerate drops while I stream.

Hey all,

So I've been trying to stream WoW recently with OBS, capturing audio with Wavtap. However, when I'm not streaming I stay at a consistent framerate and it looks fantastic but recently the framerate has dropped substantially while live. I'm not sure if it's Yosemite that's causing it, my internet or something else entirely.

Before, I used to have consistent frames while streaming as well as the ability to check my stream on a separate device, just to see if everything was working correctly. These days, my stream doesn't even show up in the channels section of twitch, and the stream itself refuses to load. I can't even tell if I'm live or not.

It's been trouble after trouble: with the release of Yosemite, soundflower practically unusable, among other things.

Has anyone encountered this type of problem? Could it be my machine? (I can post my specs if you need to see them) But, yeah tell me what ya'll think!

You're kind of using a lot of CPU, 720p might not be the ideal resolution for your computer. I would try 540p for your scaled stream resolution and see if it helps at all.

I'll try it and see how it goes. Thanks for the suggestion!
