Question / Help FPS drops

I've got a pretty good computer, I've streamed before on YouTube and Twitch, Twitch being worst the YouTube so I today decided to stream on YouTube again, I've streamed fine on both sites with a little tinkering I got it to 720p at 60fps on Twitch.
But now when I streamed on YouTube my fps in OBS went to shitballs, I have it set to 30fps as YouTube don't go any higher, but as soon as I move in game it drops to like 8-15 FPS, I run at 40-50fps in game. also on YouTube I stream at 1080p.

I have no idea what is causing this as I've streamed on YouTube before at 1080p with no problems at all.

I have a pretty good internet, got 11 mbits upload.

Your encoding settings are unrealistically high. Aside from the fact that I'm not sure if YouTube supports bit rates that high, your processor is not fast enough to do 1080p30 on the medium preset, switch back to veryfast, or faster if you feel that you still have CPU to spare.

I did a quick test with 1080p30 medium on my computer, which also has a 3770K, and it was constantly maxing out the CPU if anything was going on on the screen.

Aww man thank you so much, I was going crazy, it's been annoying me for hrs, should have gone to bed like 5 hrs ago xD

Well I read some OBS settings instructions and they said that 1080p30 with 6k bitrate is high quality and 9k is extreme quality, so I thought well I have a good upload so why not put it up there, and it works :P
But yeah, I streamed on Twitch at 720p30 on medium and didn't change that, put it in fast and I have an fps on 29-30 now, but might put it on faster just to be sure.

Thank you so much for the help, and the fast response, you made my day :)

No problem, glad to have helped. While I agree that 6k is just barely good enough for 1080p, most streaming services don't cooperate well with such bit rates, just something to keep in mind.
