Question / Help For anyone having trouble lately with OBS Studio not turning camera on

Since nobody tried to help with the issue, I found out for myself and I'm sharing it with you fellas.

If you use Bitdefender and it recently updated to 2018, check out the new Webcam Access permission, for some reason OBS Studio is blocked and you need to add it to the permitted list.

Ok i dont have that program and still have this problem.
wont work in OBS or skype but will in xsplit.
i think i may have the same issue but cant pinpoint it

Wow. I have been in BitDefender already looking at settings but didn't see anything about OBS anywhere. Somehow I think this must be relevant to my current problem, but not yet sure how - will look for a way of manually adding OBS as a thing, or checking that log in the screenshots here. Fingers crossed.

Si usa Bitdefender y se actualizó recientemente en 2018, consulte el nuevo permiso de acceso a la cámara web, por alguna razón, OBS Studio está bloqueado y debe agregarlo a la lista de permitidos.
