Bug Report External Video Source no found - OS X

I am using a FireWire cable connected to MacBook Air (OS X 10.11.6) via an adapter through the Lightening port. The camera does not show up as a video source. However, the video is available through QuickTIme.

That doesn't mean that the camera or adapter exposes the camera to OBS in a way that it can use.

Thanks for the quick reply. In what manner does it need to work? Macs being perfect and all ;^) I'd think that it'd be available. One really lame solution I devised was to bring up a QuickTime window and do a screen capture from it.
