Does NDI get rid of all input lag using dual pc or do you need a capture card to fully get rid of any sort of input lag? Thanks

Lag can be pretty low (<1 sec) but it will never be zero.

NDI would generally not be considered fast enough, for instance, to watch instead of a local monitor for the purpose of action gameplay.

I meant in the sense of playing a game competitively, will my mouse movements have any input lag using ndi just having obs open on my gaming pc?

The use of OBS or NDI only impacts input lag in gaming if your PC is resource constrained. So if using NDI or OBS is putting too much load on your PC, then overall performance can degrade. OBS operation is not free, and you may need to tailor OBS' settings and that of your game in order to make sure that all resource usage is low enough that input lag is not affected.

Aaahhh okay, ty. using NDI on gaming pc only uses about 3-4% of my cpu so based on that I shouldn't need to go out of my way to get a capture card
