Question / Help Dazzle DVC100 not detected

OBS doesn't detected dazzle dvc100 VCD. I'm running OBS on windows 8.1.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I don't believe the Dazzle has Windows 8 drivers.

It technically doesn't even have Windows 7 drivers. The Vista drivers work on both 7 and 8 though, and are available from somewhere on Pinnacle's web site.

downloaded vista/windows 7 driver, and OBS now detects dazzle DVC100.

However, no sound. tried selecting input source as 'line dvc100' and 'dazzle dvc100 audio device', but still no sound. what's odd is that i was getting sound for a moment, and then it suddenly stopped.

This is a known issue with the Dazzle, and I am unfortunately tired of explaining it over and over. Use the forum search function, or better yet sell/burn/blow up the Dazzle and buy an AVerMedia C039 instead.
