Question / Help Can't stop frames from dropping. Help needed!

Hello guys,
i'm new to streaming and searched this forum for stuff i can do to stop the FPS drops while streaming.
I stream games like Dota2, DarkSouls, L4D, BF3 and so on and while playing i get drops from 60fps to 40 (and lower) in my OBS window.
Would really liek to get someone nice that could give me a hand with my settings.

Well you changed the x264 preset, so OBS will demand more CPU and perhaps not leave enough for your game. If you want it to not use as much CPU, put it back to default.

so you recommend putting it to "fast" ?

you think my CPU is good with using "fast" or should i put it on "superfast" ?
but will that make my quali go really low ?

On an i5, stick with either the default (Veryfast) or Faster. Faster comes at basically no CPU cost over Veryfast. On the other hand, the quality improvement isn't all that substantial either. So... for now, use Veryfast as a baseline to extend on.
