Question / Help Blue Yeti mic -- When I get loud, the mic spikes pretty horribly

You can hear it in this video (I'm the one with the deep voice) https://www.twitch.tv/bruce_mchuge/v/103957598

Didn't used to do this. I added a noise suppression filter, and a noise gate... can't imagine why that would suddenly make me blowout my mic. :O

But if anyone can help me bring things down from AHHH EAR-RAPE when I'm loud, back to just RIP headphones level, I'd really appreciate it.

Was planning to make this a good highlight, but after hearing that I dunno. X | It's pretty terrible.

Use a free program called voicemeeter does wonders for Microphones and also has a noise gate ect look it up and watch some tutorials on it

The suppression filter should make the noise gate unnecessary, I'd suggest trying without the gate. I don't know if that'll fix the problem but I doubt it'll hurt.
