Question / Help Black Screen on Game Capture

I am getting a black screen when attempting to game capture full screen League of Legends.

I am running a dual GPU laptop with AMD. I have attempted some preliminary troubleshooting, here are my results:

I initially set, in the Catalyst Control Center, for both OBE.exe and League of Legends.exe to run on High Performance CPU. This did not work. Just now, I decided to try setting both to Power Saving CPU which did work. However, I am unsatisfied with this solution since the Power Saving CPU is slow and I am not getting the stream quality I want. Is there any way to get it to run on the High Performance CPU?

There is no way. Either use Monitor Capture or Window capture with League of Legends in borderless window

You have to use the control panel in windows for your graphics adapter to set OBS to the correct GPU unfortuantely. You generally don't want to use the adapter setting in OBS itself for the laptop GPUs. I don't know why it always gets set to the intel. Wish those intels were disable-able

This isn't a response to what Jim is saying, but I have seemed to have gotten game capture working. It feels a lot less choppy now compared to using monitor capture!

how did you get it to work because Monitor and Window feel very choppy. I can get audio but black screen with Game mode but its very smooth. also i am playing in windowed not full screen. any help is appreciated.

I played around with the installation of different drivers, but then my laptop broke so I have to wait till I send it back in to see if that is an actual fix. I think it was just a temporary fix though
