A feature I would love to see added from PS5

I've recently left the world of console gaming behind for a gaming pc, and there's one feature from PS5 that I'm missing Terribly. That is, the ability to see twitch chat directly on my screen as an overlay. It's perfect for newer streamers who don't get a lot of traffic and don't want to have a second (mostly blank) screen to watch for that occasional friend/viewers comment. Just curious how likely this is or how difficult it would be to incorporate as a plug-in/overlay.

Thanks in advance, and sorry if this is the wrong place to post as I'm new here ✌️

Well, you *could* have the chat on its own screen (or at least its own dedicated area somewhere, even if it's behind another window), Window Capture it in OBS, also capture the game, and overlay them in OBS.

The trouble with that, is that you're now watching the output from OBS, and not anything directly, and so you have an extra bit of delay between what you're doing and what you see. if that delay is short enough, it works anyway, but it's not guaranteed. Might be worth a shot though.

If you want OBS's result to be full-screen, you can right-click OBS's display window -> Fullscreen Projector -> choose a monitor.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like that might be worth checking out. I've also seen ways to do it through streamlabs but I'm trying to avoid that, and iirc it was only for like windowed games or something. I'll just wait and hopefully it'll be added at some point, it rly was a great feature
