Hi OBS team and others,
Yesterday - while trying to stream playback of the game 'Death Stranding' - I received some odd issues in OBS that I hadn't encountered before...My screen started tearing unusually and I wasn't sure how to resolve this...My prior streams never had this issue streaming...
The videos I make end up having 00:00 end time, and I can't skip through them. The total videos don't even end up being that long, but they might be super high qual to the point where it's too big. But even then I have almost 250gb of space in the recording direct. It's been going on for so...
I am currently using this spec (no way of upgrading it):
RAM: 16GB DDR3
i usually record r6 a few weeks ago it was fine
and at a random day the recording started out fine
but suddenly the game starts to drop frames i usually get around 80 but that day it dropped to...
Hi everyone !
I recently tried to record The Witcher 2 with OBS. While my game stays around 60 fps, the record isn't smooth and it stutters, not very pleasant for the eye.
I try what I found the forum; disable game mode, disable game dvr, enable vsync in-game, using the wizard assistant to...
I don't know why, i built my new pc recently (last week), and at first it recorded videos and played Call of Duty Black Ops 3 fine, like OBS didn't even struggle (and neither did the graphics card).
But one day, it just stopped being normal and has been playing up ever since, I've spent...
Seems that there are a lot of other people who encounter this problem, but my situation is very strange...
This problem only happens when I stream and record at the same time. Whether the livestream is stopped or not, pressing the Stop Recording button will end with the button stuck on...
Hey folks, posted a few days ago about my recordings being super laggy and even skipping full sections of gameplay. I tested my OBS this morning for streaming to my twitch.tv account and it was flawless. My chat cover and banner were working as intended, it was 1080p 60fps with minimum lag.
Let me start with my builds:
GTX 1080 TI
16gb DDR4 3000mhz
1440p 144hz Gysnc Asus Monitor
Home Server/Streaming Rig:
Ryzen 1700 (stock)
Elgato 4k60 Pro
BENQ 1080p 144hz Monitor
Via the above specs, I am gaming off of 1 PC, hdmi out to the elgato card in...
So, I've recently discovered that I can use Quicksync for streaming, as I don't have NVENC, and as far as I can tell, it works perfectly!
However, when I want to record, what would be better to use? I don't have the best CPU, as putting anything above superfast in x264 lags my stream (but I was...
I've spent the best part of a week trying to get OBS to work as it used to. I was able to comfortably record at 1080p 60fps about 4 months ago, but since I've stated recording again I seem to keep getting the dreaded "encoding overload" message at the bottom of OBS..
I'm using an AMD...
I recorded just fine this morning. After the update when I try to simply record I get this error window "Failed to connect to the streaming server. Please check your internet connection."
I don't understand why I am getting a internet error for a recording, seems like if anything I should get...
I am trying to record fortnite gameplay, but when running any type of capture it either records a black screen and audio or a static image and audio. I am running both through the same graphics card, I will post my logs below
