Apparently, that error is associated with too high CPU usage during initialization. While attempting to preview or start the stream, open the task manager and make a screenshot ordered by the highest CPU utilization.

thx Grimio for this quick answer, have i to try with all of those OBS versions ?
if not, which version have i to try ? and 32 or 64 bit ?
im on Windows 7 64 bit, Starcraft2 is on 32bit, and my GoogleChrome is also 32 bit.

Try turning off starcraft and other apps that are using the CPU intensely before you begin streaming.

Hi Jim, thx for answer, but i don't understand what do you mean,
im french and i don't speak english very well, can you be more accurate about my problem plz?
like what does mean the "88890017" code ?
do you think my sound card is the problem ?
does anybody else have this error code ?

i really need those informations for contact the Asus after sales service, i need to prove those drivers got problems for they do something :d

The error code means CPU usage is too high and it couldn't initialize the audio. As far as I know this is some sort of system problem, not an OBS problem directly. I don't really know anything about it, it's an very rare error as far as I know. Somehow I doubt asus will actually help you or do anything about it. I don't know if it's their drivers or something on microsoft's end, or maybe if you just have a poor audio device with your motherboard or sound card. I just don't know.

Damned, my poor 200€ audio device is the Asus Xonar Phoebus ROG edition
=> http://www.asus.com/Sound_Cards_and_Dig ... ar_Phoebus

but their drivers are bugged,
7.0.1.19 make problems and freeze Battlefield3,
so they release the 7.0.1.20beta for fix that bug, but this driver don't allow me to have more than 2 different audio sources,
like i cant have "sounds game + music + TS/Skype" that's too much and the 3rd audio source just don't make any sound,
and this last driver work on my regular Windows 7 64bit only if i put it on "test mode",
and patched it by myself for allow me to play BF3..
and drivers are not approved by microsoft :/

i explained it on my blog => http://slacs.wordpress.com/tag/asus-xonar-phoebus/

thats why OBS works fine with just WoW (2 audio sources OBS + WoW), but not with SC2 (3 audio source SC2 + web radio + OBS).

btw Asus after sales service answer me they will fix it and get the digital signature from microsoft soon,
they said that 6 month ago :s

here is my computer => http://www.cowcotland.com/config19655.html

at least i'm a bit disappointed by Asus ROG, because this "ROG" means "for hardcore gamers",
and their audio card wont work correctly with video games,
this Xonar phoebus work fine with 7.0.1.19 regular drivers, but just for casual users :(
200€ is too much for casual use, in this case my onboard chipset's sound work better (-_(-_(-_-)_-)_-)'
